Nomenclatura: aproximaciones a los estudios hispánicos is an annual online academic journal dedicated to interdisciplinary scholarship on the literary and cultural traditions of the Hispanic world. The journal is a graduate-student production of the Department of Hispanic Studies at the University of Kentucky and publishes original research in both English and Spanish on diverse aspects of the Hispanic world, ranging from the medieval period to the present.Who Can Submit?
Graduate students and professionals may submit an original article to be considered for publication in Nomenclatura: aproximaciones a los estudios hispánicos provided he or she is the lead author, or the authorized agent of the author(s) and copyright holder (if different from the author(s)) to the work being submitted or is authorized by the copyright owner or owners to submit the work. Authors are the initial owners of the copyrights to their works (an exception in the non-academic world to this might exist if the authors have, as a condition of employment, agreed to transfer copyright to their employer).
Submitted works cannot have been previously published, nor be forthcoming in an archival journal or book (print or electronic). Please note: "publication" in a working-paper series does not constitute prior publication. In addition, by submitting material to Nomenclatura: aproximaciones a los estudios hispánicos, the author is stipulating that the material is not currently under review at another journal (electronic or print) and that he or she will not submit the material to another journal (electronic or print) until the completion of the editorial decision process at Nomenclatura: aproximaciones a los estudios hispánicos.
