About Nomenclatura

Nomenclatura: aproximaciones a los estudios hispánicos is an annual online, peer-reviewed, and indexed academic journal dedicated to interdisciplinary scholarship on the literary and cultural traditions of the Hispanic world. The journal is a graduate-student production of the Department of Hispanic Studies at the University of Kentucky and publishes original research in both English and Spanish on diverse aspects of the Hispanic world, ranging from the medieval period to the present.

Nomenclatura is an open access journal and does not charge a manuscript submission fee or article processing charge. All journal content is freely available online upon publication without charge to readers and their institutions. Nomenclatura has been publishing articles with a Creative Commons Attribution license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/) since 2017, which allows people to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author, as long as attribution is given to the author and the journal. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.
