Walker Thurman Todd (April 13, 1911 - January 3, 1953) was born in Berea, Kentucky to Caleb Howard Todd and Sarah Elizabeth Allen. Todd attended Eastern State Teachers College before attending the University of Kentucky College of Law. He briefly practiced law in Madison County before moving to Mount Vernon, Ohio where he also served two terms as Knox County prosecuting attorney. Todd married Elizabeth Dove Jessee in 1933.
