John Macklin Stevenson, Jr. (December 4, 1910 - December 15, 1980) was born in Winchester, Kentucky to John Macklin Stevenson and Linna Holly Witherspoon. Stevenson received an A.B. degree in 1933 and an LL.B. in 1935 from the University of Kentucky. He practiced law in Winchester in the law firm of Stevenson & Stevenson. Stevenson was the secretary of the Winchester Building and Savings Association.
