Kirk Brasfield Moberley (February 14, 1911 - August 26, 1970) was born in Richmond, Kentucky to Shelton Moberley and Mary Moyner Bumpass. Moberley graduated from the Tennessee Military Institute and received A.B. and LL.B. degrees from the University of Kentucky. He served in the United States Army Judge Advocate General's Corps for 34 years. Moberley married Keen Shackelford in 1938.
