James Waters McRoberts, Jr. (0anuary 12, 1910 - November 16, 1985) was born in Belleville, Illinois to James Waters McRoberts and Louisa Schwarz. McRoberts practiced law in East St. Louis, Illinois. He also served in several roles, including as the director, of the MidAmerica Bank and Trust Co. of Edgemont. McRoberts served in the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General's Corps during World War II. He served on the Illinois House of Representatives between 1946 and 1950. McRoberts married Margaret Bloemker.
