Oma Alden Durham (April 29, 1910 - December 19, 1991) was born in Merrimac, Kentucky to Frank Durham and Cassa Jane Tucker. Durham practiced law in Columbia, Kentucky. He served as Adair County Attorney between 1938 and 1969. Durham represented the district encompassing Adair County in the Kentucky House of Representatives between 1970 and 1972. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Durham married Frances Childs in 1940. Their son, Henry Hunter Durham, graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 1966.
