    George Willis Yost, LL.B.

    George Willis Yost, Jr. (March 1, 1912 - April 6, 1993) was born in Logan County, Kentucky to George Willis Yost and Mary Flowers. He graduated from Bethel College before attending the University of Kentucky. Yost practiced law in Springfield, Tennessee. He served a term in the Tennessee House of Representatives in the 1940s. Yost also served on Tennessee's Pardons and Parole Boards. He served with the United States Navy during World War II. Yost was married twice--his wives were Martha Miller Dowlen (m. 1936, d. after 1952) and Jo Douglas (m. after 1952).
