Eugene Chafin Royse (December 5, 1907 - September 4, 1990) was born in Goddard, Kentucky to George Washington Royse and Mollie Lawrence. Royse practiced law in Maysville. He was a senior partner in the law firm of Royse, Zweigart, Kirk & Brammer. Royse also served at times as a police judge. He married Alice Bisset in 1941.
