    Henry Rupert Wilhoit (September 28, 1912 - December 19, 1967) was born in Grayson, Kentucky to Calhoun Blackburn Wilhoit and Irene Rupert. He attended Georgetown College before attending the University of Kentucky College of Law. Wilhoit practiced law in Grayson and served as Grayson City Attorney. He also served as attorney for the Carter County Board of Education in the 1960s. Wilhoit served with the United States Navy during World War II. He married Kathryn Reynolds in 1933.
