    Theodore John Cassady (November 6, 1907 - May 2, 1980) was born in Oakdale, Tennessee to John Cassady and Nell Childers. Cassady served as the director of the Illinois State Archives Records Management Section for many years. He served as a major with the American Red Cross during World War II. Cassady married Juanita McDowell in 1937.
