Rawlings Ragland (December 4, 1908 - October 1, 1977) was born in Waco, Texas to George Ragland and Elizabeth Rawlings. Ragland served as an attorney in the United States Government in various sections. He was, at times, special assistant to the Attorney General, chief of the Court of Claims Sections, and a member of the Puerto Rican Reconstruction Administration. Ragland also served as a deputy chief counsel for the prosecution in the Nuremburg trials. He was chief prosecutor in the trial of Alfred Krupp. Ragland married Joan Wakefield in 1953.
