Peter D. Giachini (November 7, 1906 - April 28, 1989) was born in Chicago, Illinois to Settimo Giachini and Mary Josephine Lapenda. Giachini received a degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Illinois in 1931. He returned to Chicago to practice after receiving his LL.B. from the University of Kentucky. He served as general counsel for the Andrew Corporation. Giachini was also a longtime member of the board of directors for the Maywood-Proviso State Bank. He married Ruth Siemer in 1933.
