Harry Ligon Green (December 22, 1908 - October 27, 1996) was born in Knoxville, Tennessee to Jewish Lithuanian immigrants Joseph (Iochel) Green and Bessie (Khaie-Basha) Ligum. Green and his wife co-owned a women's fashion retail store in Cincinnati, Ohio. He married Sylvia Hellman in 1930.
