Jesse Clay McKnight, LL.B.
Jesse Clay McKnight, Sr. (February 1, 1906 - January 22, 1968) was born in Scott County, Kentucky to Virgil Omer McKnight and Myrtle Whitton. McKnight practiced law in Georgetown. He served four terms as Scott County Attorney and was the master commissioner of the Scott Circuit Court for 12 years. McKnight also served as president and director of the First National Bank in Georgetown. He served on the State Workmen's Compensation Board for 4 years. McKnight married Edna Hagedorn.
