King Fike (January 9, 1903 - October 23, 1998) was born in Brookside, West Virginia to Washington Fike and Delilah Johnson. Fike attended college at Potomac State College and also studied at West Virginia University College of Law. He first practiced law in Stratford, Texas with R.E. Stalcup. Fike served as District Attorney for Texas' 69th District and as Hartley County Attorney. He married Marguerite King in 1933.
