Ferdinand Italo Caruso (October 18, 1905 - October 11, 1960) was born in Pennsylvania to Michael Caruso and Dona Angela Buccafurni. Caruso attended the University of West Virginia before receiving his LL.B. from the University of Kentucky. He practiced law in Clarksburg, West Virginia. He later worked as a fire investigator for the National Board of Fire Underwriters. He married Mary Angela Catanzaro in 1942.
