Andrew Van Sante Fox (December 23, 1905 - December 28, 1977) was born in Elizaville, Kentucky to Claiborne Fox and Emma Van Sante. Fox practiced law in Maysville, Kentucky. Fox served as Maysville City Prosecutor in the early 1930s. In 1933, Fox's parents died under mysterious circumstances in a house fire. Fox was charged and later acquitted of murder in his parent's deaths. After his acquittal, he continued to practice law in Maysville until his death. Fox was married twice--his wives were Lenora Thomas (m. 1929, d. 1930) and Edna Robertson (m. 1936).
