James Campbell Finley (July 26, 1906 - May 31, 1990) was born in Madisonville, Kentucky to Thomas Eldreth and Ella Campbell. Finley worked as a banker in Madisonville after graduation. He served as president of the Farmers Bank and Trust Company for many years. Finley served as a major in the United States Air Force during World War II. He married Goldie McEuen on May 22, 1932. Finley's brother, Gordon Bennet Finley, also graduated from the UK College of Law in 1932.
