William Campbell Scott, Jr. (November 2, 1906 - May 23, 1985) was born in Lexington, Kentucky to William Campbell Scott, Sr. and Katherine Shelby. Scott attended Columbia University after attending the University of Kentucky College of Law. He practiced law in New York City for over 40 years before retiring in 1971. Scott married Ann McKinney Hodgson.
