Marion Wash Moore (February 15, 1904 - January 27, 1961) was born in Barlow, Kentucky to Osceola Moore and Laura Rust. Moore initially practiced law in Lexington and Paducah. In 1929, he was appointed as a special agent in the United States Department of Justice. Moore was appointed as Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Kentucky in 1931. Moore resigned from this position in 1933. He then practiced law in Covington. Moore married Lena Williams in 1930.
