Austin Moore (November 30, 1902 - October 27, 1949) was born in Lexington, Kentucky to Leo John Moore and Teresa Molloy. Moore practiced law in Lexington. He served as assistant attorney to Kentucky's revenue agent between 1929-1933. He later served as a Fayette County commissioner and as Lexington city manager. Moore married Helen Cherrie Broadrick.
