John Robert McGinety (July 1, 1905 - April 8, 1953) was born in Falmouth, Kentucky to Edward McGinety and Carolyn Buckler. McGinety practiced law in Mount Olivet. Additionally, he served four terms as Robertson County attorney. He married Hildreth Haughaboo.
