    James Sidney Caudel, Sr., LL.B.

    James Sidney Caudel, Sr. (June 28, 1897 - September 30, 1961) was born in Menifee County, Kentucky to Thomas Litrel Caudel and Louise Ann Kash. Caudel graduated from Berea College before attending the University of Kentucky. Caudel was a major in the United States Army--he served with the army for 38 years and was a veteran of WWI and WWII. Caudel practiced law in Bath County, Kentucky. He served as Bath County attorney and as the Commonwealth's Attorney for the 21st Judicial District. Caudel married Bess Rowland.
