Speaker's Bio
Clay Larkin is a Partner in the Lexington, Kentucky office of Dinsmore & Shohl LLP where he practices in the areas of environmental, energy and natural resources law. He is a graduate of Western Kentucky University and the University of Kentucky College of Law, where he was a member of the Kentucky Law Journal and National Moot Court Board. Clay represents clients engaged in mining, manufacturing, power generation, and other industries on issues related to environmental compliance, transactions, and litigation. He routinely publishes articles and presents on legal issues related to environmental law and the energy industry, and has testified before the United States Senate and Kentucky General Assembly on environmental issues related to coal mining. Clay serves as Senior Policy Advisor, Secretary, and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Kentucky Coal Association, and is a Trustee and member of the Executive Committee of the Energy and Mineral Law Foundation.
