Description
Fannie B. Eversole was one of the migrants leaving the United States for Ethiopia, Africa, in the Back to Africa Movement. The plans to establish a colony in Ethiopia did not work out, and most of the migrants returned to the United States. Fannie B. Eversole was one of the last three to remain in Ethiopia, they were stranded. The American Negro Benevolent Society came to their rescue, and paid the fares for all three persons to return to the United States.
