Description

Rev. D. Anthony Everett is an At-large State Human Rights Commissioner, pastor at Wesley United Methodist Church, and an LGBTQ Accomplice/Ally. Born in Washington, D.C., he lives in Lexington, KY. He is the recipient of the 2017 Bluegrass Black Pride Ally Award and the 2017 Lexington Fairness Ally Award. He has been a cis-gender ally with Bluegrass Black Pride and a promoter of HIV/AIDS awareness. He has also been an advocate at the local, state, and national levels for sentencing and criminal justice reform legislation.
