Speaker's Bio
Dr. David Solomon is a Professor of Medicine at Michigan State University. He specializes in performance assessment, program evaluation, curriculum development and distance learning. Dr. Solomon is a founding editor of an open access journal, Medical Education Online, and a founding Board Member of the Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association. He is also the author of Developing Open Access Journals: A Practical Guide. His current research is focused on the growth of OA publishing and issues concerning APC (Article Processing Charge) funded OA publications.
