Speaker's Bio
Jane F. Garvey was appointed Deputy Administrator of the Federal Highway Administration in April 1993. Prior to coming to FHWA, she was Director of Logan International Airport. From 1988 to 1991, Ms. Garvey served as Commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Public Works and prior to that, she was an Associate Commissioner in the Department of Public Works.
