Franklin Webb Stevenson (August 2, 1907 - March 30, 2000) was born in Winchester, Kentucky to John Stevenson and Linna Witherspoon. Steven graduated from Georgetown College before attending the University of Kentucky College of Law. He practiced law in Winchester. Stevenson served with the Judge Advocate General Corps during World War II where he achieved the rank of Captain. Stevenson then settled in Hartford, Connecticut where he served as counsel for the Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection & Insurance Company. He retired from that position in 1975 and went on to teach business law at the University of Hartford until his death in 2000. Stevenson married Isabel Myers in 1945.
