James William Hume, Jr. (February 15, 1908 - September 22, 1988) was born in Jeffersontown, Kentucky to James William Hume and Minnie Belle Snider. Hume practiced law in Jefferson County. He also owned and operated a farm within the county. Hume married Mabel Louise Childs in 1933.
