Pat Davis Rankin (December 2, 1907 - February 10, 1982) was born in Garrard County, Kentucky to Thomas Rankin and Nancy Doolin. Rankin practiced law in Stanford, Kentucky. He was Lincoln County Attorney for 10 years. Rankin served on the Board of Governors for the Kentucky Bar Association and was the editor of the Stanford Interior Journal. He married Elizabeth Cummins in 1934.
