Warder Clay Robinson (August 15, 1898 - December 27, 1983) was born in Doddridge County, West Virginia to Albert Robinson and Ava Willis. Robinson taught in public schools in West Virginia before attending the University of Kentucky. After graduation, he practiced law in Owsley County, Kentucky. He served as Owsley County Attorney for over 27 years. Robinson was married twice--his wives were Pauline Lutes (m. 1939, d. pre-1950) and Nettie Bowman (m. after 1950).
