William Earle Fowler (September 12, 1897 - February 19, 1952) was born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky to William Thomas Fowler and Ila Earle. Fowler first attended Western State College. He served as a principal and athletic coach at Daviess County High School. Fowler entered law practice with his father, Judge W. T. Fowler, and brother in the Lexington law firm of Fowler and Fowler. He served as general counsel and vice president of the Frankfort and Cincinnati Railroad Company. Fowler married Reba Brownfield in 1919.
Fowler's brother, Daniel Eison Fowler (UK Law '33), was also a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law.
