James Leonard Davis, LL.B.
James Leonard Davis (September 12, 1894 - January 21, 1981) was born in Knox County, Kentucky to William Harrison Davis and Sarah Campbell. Davis worked for several years as a barber in Barbourville, Kentucky. He continued to work as a barber during his education at the College of Law. Davis practiced law in Harlan County after graduation. He married Blanche Tuggle in 1913.
