William Franklin Simpson (September 15, 1901 - May 17, 1962) was born in Dry Ridge, Kentucky to Louis Simpson and Frances Ware. Simpson practiced law in Kenton County after graduation. Simpson began working as an Assistant Attorney General for Kentucky in 1948. He served in this role under four Attorney Generals.
