Boyd Langdon Bailey, LL.B.

Boyd Langdon Bailey (June 18, 1902 - June 17, 1986) was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Gilbert Langdon Bailey and Margaret Boyd. Bailey graduated from Princeton University in 1923. He practiced law in New York City after receiving his LL.B. from the University of Kentucky. He moved his practice to Bath, Maine in the late 1930s. Bailey served as an assistant attorney general for the state of Maine from 1947-1957. He married twice--his wives were Virginia Clay Hamilton (m. 1939, w. 1981) and Virginia Toole Gillies (m. 1982).
