Zephaniah Wells*, LL.B.
Zephaniah Wells (November 9, 1890 - October 25, 1946) was born in Johnson County, Kentucky to Marcus Linzy King Wells and Exer Meek. Wells was a school teacher in Johnson County before entering the law program at the University of Kentucky. He began practicing law in Paintsville after graduating in 1915. Wells practiced in Paintsville for his entire career. He married Grace Hicks in 1921.
*Mr. Wells is not listed in the 1915 edition of The Kentuckian.
