Speaker's Bio
Ty Yeast began his career with Alltech in 1995 upon completion of a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan. In 2005, he completed his MSc in Brewing & Distillation from the Herriot Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland and the Advanced Management Development Program from the Michael Smurfit School of Business, University College Dublin. Over the course of his career with Alltech, he has held various positions including global product and species champion and working in Alltech's former Alcohol Division. Early on he was responsible for establishing Alltech California and has since continued to be been responsible for developing and managing markets as Managing Director of Alltech Canada and Director of North America. Ty has recently been involved in Alltech's Acquisition strategy focusing on acquisition integration in Canada with the EMF group, in USA with Ranchway Feeds and as Managing Director for Lienert Australia and Alltech Australia. He is currently the Global Director for Alltech Energy Division.
