. Preliminary information indicates forage quality of American jointvetch (Aeschynomene americana L.) decreases rapidly with age. The purpose of this study was to determine the dry matter (DM) yield growth curve and changes in quality as plants elongated and matured. The study was conducted _at Ona, Florida in the summer of 1977 and 1978 when plants attained multiple heights of 15 cm. Plants were established m July and sampled, beginning at about 6 wks.
