Description
Born in Lexington, KY, Jordan C. Jackson, Jr. was an activist, businessman, and newspaper editor. Jackson and his business partner William M. Porter, were the first African American undertakers in Lexington Jordan C. Jackson spoke before the Kentucky Legislature in 1892 to oppose the Separate Coach Bill. Jordan C. Jackson, Jr. was a brother to John H. Jackson.
