Description
Entry and vignette were created to dismiss the myth that African Americans from Kentucky were a major factor in the Black migration from the south who were seeking employment in the northern automobile factories at the turn of the century and right up to the early years of The Great Depression. Most African American Kentuckians in the automobile industry between 1910-1930 were employed in Kentucky.
