Description

Anastasia Curwood was born in Boston, Massachusetts and moved to Lexington with her partner Carol almost 4 years ago. She is an Associate Professor of Black Women's and Gender History, and Director of African American and Africana Studies at the University of Kentucky. She is currently writing a biography of Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm. She loves reading, dancing, walking her dogs, and especially riding horses.
