Description
This four story gate also known as the Royal Gate is the main gateway to the Taj Mahal. The gate is 100 feet high and is built of red sandstone with Arabic calligraphy from the Holy Quran and motifs of entwined flowers, leave and vines made of semi-precious stones inlaid with white marble spiraling downward.
