Description
It is said that Shah Jehan designed a bridge to connect this last resting place of his wife with a similar Taj on the far side of the river. Masons, jewelers, and workmen spent 17 years and four million sterling on collecting materials for what still remains "The Wonder of the Earth." (from back of card)
This postcard was published by Raphael Tuck & Sons around 1910.
