Description

The landscape of CCR management is poised for significant transformation with the proposed EPA regulation introduced in early 2026. This presentation will provide a clear and enhanced summary of the key points in the proposed rule, highlighting the significant changes and implications for the industry. Where appropriate, it will be further enhanced by benchmarking data to compliment the key points and the effect to the “CCR Universe”. The proposed regulation aims to adjust the requirements for effective CCR management, introducing new compliance measures and timelines that will impact owner/operators across the board. Key discussion points will include: • Summary of Key Points in the Proposed Rule: An overview of the major changes and new requirements introduced by the EPA. • Significant Changes and Implications: A detailed analysis of how these changes will affect the industry, including compliance challenges and strategic planning considerations. • Variability and Next Steps: Based on the proposed options presented, the variability in possible outcomes will be addressed and suggestions will be provided on what to anticipate next, as appropriate. This presentation aims to equip industry professionals with the knowledge and insights needed to understand and adapt to the proposed regulatory changes. By sharing a comprehensive summary and analysis, we will get smarter together, fostering a collaborative approach to CCR management in the face of regulatory uncertainty. Note to WOCA: I will review and revise the abstract after the proposed regulations are issued (as best I can) to comply with all dates from the organization.
