The Future of CCR “Green Cement” Technology to Reduce CO2 and Provide High-Performance Products Authors Mr. Russell Stapp - United States - Ecomaterial Technologies Abstract ECOMaterial Technology is on the forefront of CCR Beneficial use, and its Green Cement (GCI) Division is specifically advanced in new CO2 reduction product development applications to create high volume uses of CCR to replace up to 60 percent of cement in standard cement formulations. PozzoSlag® product formulations will meet or exceed a Grade 100 and Grade 120 slag performance criteria evaluated under ASTM C989 specifications and compared to blast furnace slag performance. PozzoSlag® is a patented specialty use formulation and proprietary manufacturing process that produces products that are 95-99% CCR formulations and up to 99% CO2 free for use in RM, Precast and CLSM products that set in 15 minutes to allow continued construction activity. GCI also has specialty product formulations that are used in 3D printing applications to build homes and other structures that are cost efficient products and can be completed in significantly shorter periods than standard construction applications. This presentation will provide a history of the GCI division, the products produced, performance data, cost comparison to standard cement formulations, and CO2. reduction impact. Green Cement innovation is the industry leader in the beneficial use market of CCR and specialty by-product utilization. The GCI team with support from the EcoMaterials team will continue to lead innovation and CO2reduction applications and high-performance low CO2 products.
