A New Era in Discrete Hadronic Symmetries
Abstract
The search for a weak component of the nuclear force began in 1957, the year parity violation was first predicted. While it has been observed in compound nuclei with large magnifications, a systematic characterization of the Hadronic Weak Interaction has been unfeasible for over half a century. New experimental facilities and technology have rejuvenated our efforts to map out this final frontier of the Standard Model, and to search for new physics.
