Truman Grove Rumberger (June 29, 1907 - August 29, 1959) was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Gustavis Rumberger and Lelah Grove. Rumberger began working in the telephone industry after graduation. He had a long career with the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company and served in many capacities, including as a traffic inspector, an engineer, commercial manager, and public relations assistant. Rumberger married Julia Wilkins in 1934.
