John Emory Walden (May 18, 1896 - November 9, 1940) was born in Laurel County, Kentucky to George Washington Walden and Sarah Beets. Walden practiced law in Laurel County after graduation. He also served as Laurel County attorney. Walden married Irene Kendall in 1924.
